My groups dynamic was very good, we completed everything that needed to be completed at the best standards I believe. My group was built up by Adrian Canseco (me), Hannah Wilson and Marina Alvarez. Everything went pretty well, like I said we completed every task and we all contributed to this project. Something that went well is that our products were very good and we had a good exhibition. Some areas that I need to grow on as a group member is having more respect for my group members, because I would be rude to my group members sometimes because I was stressed about the project.
In humanities I learned about fictional societies and how they work. In Fahrenheit 451 the society was a dystopian society, in that society books were forbidden because it could expose information about their government. In our totalitarian regime I learned about the Cambodian regime and how it was ran for years under the control of Pol Pot, I also learned about other regime when my classmates presented. I used Humanities thinking in this project by researching about the Cambodian Regime and about the Muslim Ban and completing our presentation and our zine.
In Physics we learned about thermodynamics so we could complete our phase diagram. Physics related to the phase because it involved all this changes from a solid to liquid, then to gas, we also had to relate things from Fahrenheit 451 to the phase diagram. We also used for the stirling engine. With thermodynamics I understood how the stirling engine operates, it operates when the heat molecules expand in the pressure chamber, then it moves and the cooling phase keeps the engine running.
In Engineering we learned how to build a stirling engine. A stirling engine is an engine that operates with heat. The heat provides movement in the engine. The components are crank shaft, pressure chamber, displacer, etc. I used engineer thinking to compete the building of the engine.
My exhibition products were very well, we edited everything in the final days to make them better. Exhibition went very well we were asked a lot of questions about our products. I would grade myself an A+ because I contributed a lot towards our products so they can be finished at grade A quality. I think I grew in historical knowledge. I need to grow in thermodynamics because I am lacking some knowledge. I have know questions.
