Exhibition Reflection
What did you learn about your country/region of choice through this project? Explain what and how.
I learned about the economic and industrial advancements France has add throughout the many years of their establishment. The economy has always been boomin’ in France with their smart entrepreneurs and inventors they've shaped their country and the world into the greatness it is today. What item did you recreate? Why did you choose this item? Are you glad you recreated this item after seeing the final products at exhibition? My group decided on creating the famous Eiffel tower, we chose to re-create this item because it is such an important piece in French culture and french history. It’s by far the most iconic monument in France and why not give it the honor it deserves. Yes I’m glad we re-created this piece. Describe your prototype process. Was this process helpful/successful? Provide 4 (at least) photos of your prototype. Our prototype was fairly easy, In my opinion one of the easiest to create. We used cardboard, hot glue, and tape. We cut out stencil cardboard eiffel tower sides then stuck it together to make one marvelous eiffel tower prototype. Yes, this was helpful to create a good looking final piece. Based on what you saw at exhibition, which other country would you be interested in learning more about? Explain why. I would be interested in learning more about the industrial history of America. I would like to learn about the US because it’s my country and would love to learn about our successes. Do you feel proud of your booth, product, and overall participation at exhibition? Explain why and how. Provide at least 4 photos of your booth and yourself at exhibition. Yes, I felt very proud of our booth because I was the one that set it up and designed it. I added clinical touches to make it look perfect. It was in my opinion the most visually appealing booth at the exhibition. How do you think exhibition went? At first I didn’t see the point in this exhibition because it was about an artifact. But then came exhibition and I found it very fun and interesting to learn about the different countries industrial development. |
